PROGRAM TITLE: OPERATOR/STYLIST |
OBJECTIVE: To prepare the student to be employed in an entry level position in the cosmetology field as
an Operator/Stylist after graduating and passing the State Board License Examination.
REQUIREMENTS: 1500 total clock hours. Students must meet entrance requirements as set forth herein.

PROGRAM TITLE: INSTRUCTOR |
(750 hours)
OBJECTIVES: To prepare the student to become employed in an entry-level position as an Instructor in a facility that offers training programs in the field of cosmetology. To train Manicurists or Operator/Stylists to teach in the State of Texas and to prepare that individual for a Vendor Examination for an Instructor's License.
REQUIREMENTS: Complete seven hundred and fifty (750) clock hours and meet entry requirements as set forth in this catalog. Note that, effective in the State of Texas at this time, a Manicurist or Operator who has two or more years of verifiable experience can take an Instructor Program consisting of two hundred and fifty hours. If the applicant student has such qualifications she/he should discuss this program with the School Director.
