Rio-Carnival is known to be one of the most interesting and artistic events in the Globe. Why cant we have our own carnival at B1 Careers! The purpose for this event is to celebrate our students inspirations through their artistic abilities in creating colorful, bright, and beautiful masks, hair design, and makeup from the shoulders to the head. This is a chance for students to display their deep, fun-loving souls on a school project. Students will be judged on their ideas and creativity using hair, facial makeup, and mask design. Costume is not included in this project.
"RECYCLED FASHION SHOW-TURN TRASH INTO FUNK"

Students express their ideas through costume, hair, and makeup.
Houston holds one of the most important United States government agencies in the world called the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). NASA is responsible for the nation's civilian space program and for aeronautics and aerospace research. Our school likes to pay tribute to the greatest space center by holding a spacey school event. The purpose for this event is for students to create a futuristic theme look. Students can use any materials necessary to make it look out of this world. Students will be judged on their ideas and creativity using hair and facial makeup from the shoulders and up. Costume is not included in this project.

"WEDDING & QUINCEANERAS EXTRAVAGANZA"
Quinceañeras: For Hispanic girls in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the United States and elsewhere, the 15th birthday marks the most lavish celebration of their lives. Designating a girl’s transition from childhood to adulthood, the quinceañera is a two-part festivity that traces back to both indigenous and European cultural traditions and has become an increasingly opulent affair in recent years. Parents may even spend more on their daughters' "Sweet 15" quinceañeras than their weddings, in fact, which is why some refer them as mini bodas, or miniature weddings. The quinceañera outfits are often made of satin with lace overlays and rhinestone accents, quinceañera dresses, the visible centerpieces of these celebrations, mirror what Cinderella might’ve worn to her fairytale ball.
Weddings: A wedding is the ceremony where people are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social classes. A number of cultures have adopted the traditional Western custom of the white wedding, in which a bride wears a white wedding dress and veil.
The purpose for this event is for students to bring their hair, makeup, and their elegant costume ideas to life. We all know that a person's wedding and quinceaneras are some of the most elegant and memorable times in a persons life. The models hair do, makeup, and costume will be judged by the schools nominated judges on the day of the event.
"FANTASY HAIR EXTRAVAGANZA"
These fantasies may include princess & prince, elegant fairy tale characters, elegance, extravagant, and glamouraous hair. Students express their ideas through hair, and makeup.
